One more person has died of COVID-19 related complications at one of the treatment centers in Bauchi State.
This is according to a report obtained by our Correspondent on Sunday from the COVID-19 Emergency Operation Center, Bauchi State Ministry of Health.
With the new death, the report indicates that the state has now recorded a total of 14 deaths so far since March 24 when the first case was recorded in the state.
According to the report, the case fatality rate in the state has risen to 2.43 per cent.
Meanwhile, as of August 7, five more patients had been discharged from isolation after recorvering from the killer-disease.
So far, the state has recorded a total of 526 recoveries out of the total 575 confirmed cases.
The report also indicates that the recovery rate is 91.5 per cent.
It shows that one new person had been infected with the virus bringing the total patients currently receiving treatment in the various Isolation Centers across the state to 35.
