Cross River partners MAN on renewable energy

The Cross River State Government on Tuesday said the state is ready and willing to go into partnership with Manufacturer Association of Nigeria (MAN) Akwa-Ibom/Cross River State.

The Cross River State Commissioner for Power and Renewable Energy, Prince Eka Williams disclosed this when members of the Cross River/Akwa-Ibom MAN paid him a courtesy call in his office.

“Cross River State is one of the front lines state in Renewable Energy as such would like to partner with MAN

“What we doing is huge, We believe we have what it takes to produce solar panels in this state” he said.

He charged members of MAN to take advantage of opportunities provided by State Government.

Earlier, the Acting Chairman of Akwa-Ibom/Cross River of MAN, comrade Usen Umoh disclosed that owing to hostile business environment and epileptic power supply in the state, MAN decided to pay the commissioner a visit to discuss on the way forward.

According to him, power is very critical in every business environment and that informed their visit.

He also called on the state government to patronize made in Nigeria product especially DANELC FZE.

The representative of DANELC FZE ng.ltd Dickson Victor, appealed to the state government to resolved the power issues as it concerned companies in the state.
