Fani-Kayode describes Tinubu as courageous, focused leader

Former Aviation Minister, Fani-Kayode and President Bola Tinubu

A former Aviation Minister, Mr Femi Fani-Kayode, has  described Nigeria’s new President, Bola Tinubu, as courageous, committed and focused.

Speaking with journalists in Damaturuon Tuesday, Fani-Kayode said “Tinubu is resilient, focused, clear thinking and has clear objectives and understanding of what he needs to do.

“I had a privilege of working with him and for him together with so many other people during the course of campaign.

“He is very courageous man who is committed to his course.’’

The former minister said that Nigerians were in good hands, describing the inauguration as very historic.

“So it is now time for everyone whether a friend or a foe to rally around the new administration and support president Bola Ahmed Tinubu to make Nigeria great.

“It is a time for us to come together, to build bridges, forget past differences and try to make Nigeria a better place,” he added.

The former minister also congratulated Mai Mala Buni for his second term victory as Yobe governor.

He said “Buni is an extra ordinary leader.’’

Fani-Kayode said that Buni’s leadership qualities became glaring from the time he assumed duty as the National Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC).

“I witnessed a lot of moves he made to strengthen the APC. He built the party up, to weaken the opposition.

“He made APC a vessel where everybody was welcomed. He made the party all inclusive.

“So I strongly believe that he still has much to offer to the country in the future.

“Therefore I am proud to be his friend and that is why I’m here in Yobe to witness his inauguration. (NAN)
