In a show of commitment to unity and progress, Plateau State Governor, Mutfwang, has emphasized his dedication to fostering a more united and prosperous Plateau, free from ethnic and religious divisions.
Speaking at the reopening and rededication ceremony of the Plateau State Government House Chapel of Grace in Jos, Governor Mutfwang highlighted the importance of fostering a cohesive and thriving society.
The Chapel, established by former governor Joshua Dariye, serves as an interdenominational worship center in the state.

During the event, attended by government officials, religious leaders, and community members, Governor Mutfwang emphasized the importance of collective effort in achieving this vision of progress and harmony.
He stated, “My desire as a chief servant of the state is to always see a more united and prosperous Plateau devoid of segregation on basis of ethnicity or religion affiliation.”
Governor Mutfwang outlined the Chapel’s role as a unifying force for the diverse religious communities in Plateau State, emphasizing that it would not replace existing worship assemblies but rather serve as a symbol of collective faith and shared purpose.
He called for humility, patience, and understanding among believers, highlighting the significance of unity in spirit for the state’s development and prosperity
Reflecting on Plateau’s potential to contribute to Nigeria’s prosperity, Governor Mutfwang expressed optimism about unlocking the state’s abundant resources.
“We will allow all the gifts that God has blessed the state with, to come to manifestation for the purpose of development. My desire is to see a united and prosperous Plateau that would feed Nigeria in no distant time”. He affirmed
Guest preacher, Brother Gbile Akanni echoed the governor’s sentiments, foreseeing a positive transformation for Plateau State and urging attendees to embrace fairness, faithfulness, and exemplary conduct.
The installation of Rev. Benjamin Nadabo as the new chaplain of the Government House Chapel was described as a significant milestone in the Chapel’s revival.
Rev. Nadabo was
charged with upholding the sacred duties of his position in accordance with the ordinance of God, as emphasized by Rev. Dr. Stephen Baba Panya, president of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) and CAN National vice chairman.
