
Late Mr Alanana, Program Manager of NADP

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has mourned the death of some principal officers of Nasarawa Agricultural Development Programme (NADP), Mr Emmanuel Alanana, Programme Manager and Dr Rabiu Abdul, Director of Extension Services, who both died in ghastly accident on Sunday evening.
Similarly, the governor also mourned the sudden death of the state Vice Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Reverend Dr Samson Kyuni Chuga, who died on Saturday, last week.

Mr Alanana and Dr Abdul, both died in a lone car crash in Gudi, along Akwanga – Abuja highway, on Sunday evening on their way to official engagement in Kaduna, while Rev Samson Chuga, died of asthma, on Saturday.
The Governor in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Ibrahim Addra and made available to journalists on Tuesday, described the losses as a significant blow to the state, saying, “Their deaths are painful and a big loss to the state”.
The Governor, who personally paid condolence visit to the berieved family recalled his recent assignment with Mr Alanana in India, saying “Alanana participated in all our meetings and engagements, providing expertise and valuable inputs in the discussions.”
He praised the late Programme Manager as a “competent, dedicated officer and key figure in the administration’s latest efforts to boost agriculture in the state, particularly in the farms in Jangwa”.
Governor Sule also paid tribute to the late Dr Abdul, highlighting his commitment and contributions to agricultural development as he said, “The late Dr Rabiu Abdul was equally a committed officer who had contributed immensely to the growth of agricultural practices in our state”.
Governor Sule, also visited Akwanga to pay his respect to the family of the late Reverend Chuga, describing him as a “lover of peace” where he acknowledged the clergyman’s relentless efforts towards fostering peace in the state.
Governor Sule extended his heartfelt condolences to the families, friends, and communities of the deceased, praying for the repose of their souls.
