INEC National Commissioner, May Umbo presenting a fresh Certificate of Return to the winner of Cross River North Senator-elect, Jarigbe Agom
PATRICK ABANG, Calabar –
INEC National Commissioner, May Umbo has presented a fresh Certificate of Return to the winner of Cross River North Senator-elect following the July 30, 2021 judgement of the Tribunal-Appeal sitting in Calabar which declared Jarigbe Agom ad winner and ordered the withdrawal of Odey’s Certificate of Return.
The Senator-elect while speaking with newsmen, returned all glory to God and the people of Cross River North for their support.
He stated that, the action today was in-line with the law and in compliance with the court judgement which was delivered in Calabar.
The lawmaker further stated that the case before the Appeal for review won not change anything as the Appeal Court is Functus Officio in the matter.
