American socialite, Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from rapper Kanye West who she has been married to for almost seven years.
Celebrity news website TMZ says, Kim is asking for joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s 4 children; North, Chicago, Psalm and Saint, of which sources to the media outlet with direct knowledge say, Kanye is fine with the joint custody arrangement.
This development comes after months of rumours of marital difficulties.
This will be Kim’s third divorce. Her marriage to music producer Damon Thomas ended with a divorce in 2004 after which she married Humphries in August 2011 but filed for divorce after 72 days. This is Kanye’s first divorce.
