Super Eagles' midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi

Super Eagles’ midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has sustained injury in the team’s camp, and is out of the high profile international friendly game against Algeria.
The Leicester star has already left the team’s camp and returned to England.
The 25 year-old last appeared for Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations, in the second round defeat to Tunisia.
His return to action for the Super Eagles was anticipated after missing the 2023 AFCON qualifiers against Sierra Leone and Sao Tome & Principe.
However, that injury has put paid to the anticipated return.
