The Nigeria Centre for Disease control (NCDC), announced on Thursday that 150 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded from nine states of the Federation.
According to the health agency, with Thursday’s cases, the total number of infections in Nigeria now stands at 62,521.
In an update on its official twitter handle @NCDCgov, it added that out of the total infections, 58,249 cases had so far been discharged with 1,141 deaths recorded.
A breakdown of the 150 new cases of COVID-19 shows that 89 came from Lagos, Rivers-19, Ogun-11, Bayelsa-9, Kaduna-8, Plateau-8, Taraba-3, Osun-2, and Delta-1.
