Nollywood in mourning as Actress Allwell Ademola dies at 43

Nollywood has been thrown into deep mourning following the death of actress and film producer, Allwell Ademola, who passed away at the age of 43.

The actress was reportedly confirmed dead on Saturday, December 27, 2025, after a medical emergency at her residence in Lagos. Sources disclosed that a neighbour rushed Ademola to Ancilla Hospital in Agege after she was found unwell in her home. Sadly, doctors later pronounced her dead at the facility.

As of the time of filing this report, the exact cause of her death has not been officially announced.

However, unverified reports circulating online suggest that she may have suffered a heart attack.

Beyond her contributions to the Nigerian film industry, Allwell Ademola was also known for her distinguished lineage. She was the granddaughter of the late Sir Adetokunbo Ademola, the revered jurist who served as Nigeria’s Chief Justice.
