
All Progressives Congress (APC) has intensified preparations for the 2026 Osun State governorship election after its National Campaign Council held a strategic meeting in Abuja.
The meeting, chaired by Hope Uzodimma, reviewed campaign plans, grassroots mobilisation, voter outreach, media engagement and election-day logistics.
Proceedings were coordinated by Barau I. Jibrin, with party leaders, ministers, lawmakers and campaign officials in attendance.
The council directed its various sub-committees to begin immediate implementation of assigned responsibilities aimed at strengthening the party’s campaign across Osun State.
Party leaders expressed confidence that the APC remains well positioned to win the governorship election, citing its programmes and leadership record.
They also urged members to remain united, disciplined and focused throughout the campaign, stressing that teamwork would be vital to success at the polls.
The meeting concluded with participants expressing optimism that the APC is fully prepared for the election and determined to reclaim Osun State.
The gathering ended with a renewed pledge by the party leadership to run a coordinated campaign and deliver victory in the forthcoming governorship contest.
