Senior Pastor of House on the Rock Church, Pastor Paul Adefarasin

Lagos State Police Command has granted the Senior Pastor of House on the Rock Church, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, an administrative bail after recovering a stun gun from him.
According to CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesperson, the stun gun is a prohibited anti-riot equipment.
Adefarasin turned himself in on Tuesday morning after a viral video showed him brandishing a gun-like object against another road user.
“He was interrogated and he volunteered cautionary statement to the police investigators,” Hundeyin said.
The police spokesperson added, “What was recovered from him, the gun-like object seen in the viral video, is not a lethal weapon or firearm but a stun gun which is a prohibited anti-riot equipment.”
Adefarasin had earlier denied allegations that he was displaying a gun, saying, “The object was neither a firearm, nor did he point it at anyone.” Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
The viral video had sparked public speculation, with some social media users questioning the pastor’s actions. However, with the police confirming the recovery of the stun gun, the matter is now under further investigation.
