His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto who is also the President Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III is to commission the newly redesigned and reconstructed Central Mosque on Friday in Nasarawa State.
This is contained in a statement issued and signed by Dr Idris Mohammed Loko , the Malamin Sarkin Nasarawa, a copy of the statement was made available to our correspondent in Maiduguri.
The statement quoted His Royal Highness (HRH), the Emir of Nasarawa, Alhaji Ibrahim Usman Jibril, as inviting Muslim Ummah to witness the commissioning ceremony of the Nasarawa New Central Mosque complex.
It added that the ceremony will be held simultaneously with the launching of a fund raising activity at the Emir’s Palace with Nasarawa State Governor, Engr Abdullahi Sule as Special Guest of Honour while Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada will serve as Chief Launcher and Professor Khalid Aliyu, the Secretary General of JNI will serve as Guest Speaker .
