Some gunmen suspected to be bandits have reportedly attacked Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria, in Kaduna State, abducting some lecturers and their families.
It was learnt that the attacky took place yesterday (June 10, 2021) night between 11pm and past 12 midnight.
Meanwhile, an update sent by the Chairman, Academic staff Union of the Polytechnic (ASUP), Aliyu Kofa, to our reporter revealed that two academic staff – Mr Habila Nasai and Mal. Adamu M. Shika were kidnapped
While the wife and two children of Mal. Ahmad Abdul (Stat) were also kidnapped but alhamdullah they were released this morning.
Three unidentified students were among the kidnapped victims.
Two students were shot by the kidnappers, one of them; Ahmad (HND II Statistics) has died this morning while the other is receiving medical attention
