The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has disclosed that candidates scheduled to participate in the 2026 Mop-Up Unfified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now print their examination notification slips ahead of the exercise slated for June 13.
The Board said the notification slips contain crucial details such as candidates’ examination centres, dates, times and other instructions necessary for a hitch-free examination process.
In a statement issued by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, on Sunday, the Board urged eligible candidates to immediately access and print their slips through its official website.
According to the statement, “the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) wishes to inform all candidates scheduled to participate in the 2026 Mop-Up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), slated for Saturday, 13th June 2026, that they can now print their examination notification slips,” the statement said.
It will be recalled that the mop-up examination was arranged for candidates who missed their earlier examinations due to technical challenges, as well as those whose biometric verification could not be successfully completed during the main UTME exercise.
The board scheduled the Mop-Up UTME for candidates who were unable to sit for their earlier examinations due to technical challenges, as well as those whose biometric verification could not be successfully completed during the main exercise,” Benjamin stated.
The Board therefore advised candidates to print their slips well ahead of the examination date and acquaint themselves with their examination centres to avoid last-minute difficulties.
JAMB also stressed that the mop-up examination would be the last opportunity for eligible candidates to sit for the 2026 UTME.
“The Board wishes to emphasise that this Mop-Up Examination represents the final opportunity for eligible candidates to sit the 2026 UTME. No further examination will be conducted after this exercise,” the statement added.
The Board therefore urged all affected candidates to take advantage of the opportunity and make adequate preparations for the examination.
