The Chief of Staff, Office of the Speaker, House of Representatives, Alhaji Sanusi Rikiji has called on Youths to be self reliant and shun violence.
Alhaji Rikiji made the plea during the distribution of 500 Motorcycles and 500 Tricycles to the people of Zamfara State.
The Chief of Staff who was represented by the Deputy Chairman, All Progressives Congress, APC, Zamfara State Chapter, Alhaji Musa Mallaha, Alhaji Rikiji said the gesture was aimed at supporting young people with a view to reducing unemployment and improve their livelihood.
He urged well to do individuals to support the needy to alleviate their hardship through empowerment programmes.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke to Radio Nigeria expressed gratitude and promised to make good use of the Tricycles.
