
Crime suspect in police handcuff

Anambra State Police Command has arrested a 25-year-old suspect, Samuel Eze, in possession of a fresh human breast in Awada, Obosi.
The arrest was made by a Joint Security Team attached to Awada Police Station on July 6.
The police spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen on Sunday in Awka, the state’s capital.
SP Ikenga said: “The Joint Security Team patrolling Jude Onyekwere Street, Awada, Obosi, arrested 25-year-old Samuel Eze in possession of a fresh female breast.”
The recovered body part has been deposited at a morgue, while the suspect is undergoing interrogation for further investigation and prosecution.
Ikenga also revealed that police operatives attached to the Rapid Response Squad rescued a kidnapped driver at Enugwu Ukwu, Njikoka LGA.
The operatives, acting on credible intelligence, rescued the victim and recovered a truck loaded with custard powder worth ₦9.5 million.
Three suspects were arrested in connection with the incident.
Additionally, Ikenga confirmed a suspected stolen vehicle recovered by police operatives attached to the Obosi Division.
The vehicle, an ash-coloured Toyota Sienna, was found abandoned along Okpuno-Umuota Village road, Obosi.
The police command urges anyone seeking the recovered vehicle to present valid proof of ownership for verification and possible collection.
