Tor Tiv, His Royal Majesty, Prof. James Iorzua Ortese Ayatse
Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has sent hearty felicitations to the Tor Tiv and Chairman, Benue State Traditional Council, His Royal Majesty, Prof. James Iorzua Ortese Ayatse, on the occasion of his 70th birthday anniversary.
Governor Alia in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, described the revered monarch as a distinguished traditional ruler, scholar, statesman and patriot whose wisdom, courage and unwavering commitment to peace, justice and the preservation of the rich Tiv cultural heritage have continued to inspire posterity across Benue State and beyond.
The governor commended the Begha U Tiv for his fatherly role in promoting unity, peaceful coexistence and constructive dialogue among the diverse peoples of the state.
He oted that the Tor Tiv among other things, has maintained dignity and honour to the traditional institution.
Governor Alia prayed God to grant the Royal Father more years in good health, strength, wisdom and grace as he continues to serve humanity and provide purposeful leadership to the Tiv Kingdom and the entire Benue traditional institution.
