Go back to farming, Nasarawa LG Chairman urges Nigerians

Executive Chairman of Nasarawa LGA, Mr. Muhammed Sani Otro

The Executive Chairman of Nasarawa LGA of Nasarawa State, Mr. Muhammed Sani Otro has called on Muslims and the entire people of the area to embrace farming activities as the rains sets for this year’s cropping season.

 

The Chairman gave the charge on Wednesday at the Eid praying ground in Nasarawa during prayers to mark this year’s celebration of Eid-el-Kabir celebration..

 

He also told the mammoth crowd that peace has already begin to return to the country and commended President Bola Tinibu and the Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule for the new policies introduced which he said has started yielding positive results, hence, the need for people to go back to full scale farming.

 

In his speech at the occasion, the Emir of Nasarawa, Alhaji Ibrahim Usman Jibrin, urged Muslims in the area to embrace peace and shun all manner of negative attitudes capable of causing disunity in the country.

 

He also urged parents to always observe the movement of their children during festive periods.

 

The Emir also call on the people of Nasarawa to remain steadfast in their support to the present administration understand the leadership of Governor Abdullahi Sule and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as they are committed to transform the country for the better.
