Gov. Mohammed felicitates Bauchi Emir on Leadership Newspaper award

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has congratulated the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Suleman Adamu, on his recognition by the Leadership Newspaper as the “Social Impact Person of the year 2023.“

This was contained in a statement signed and made available to journalists in the State by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado, on Tuesday.

The statement was titled: “Governor Bala Mohammed congratulates Emir of Bauchi as he bags Leadership Newspaper ‘Social Impact Person of the Year, 2023’.”

According to him, the Governor commended the Leadership Newspaper for the recognition accorded the people of Bauchi State for the honor and respect to the Chairman of the Bauchi State Council of Emirs.

He added that the Governor said the unwavering commitment of the Emir to uplifting communities and fostering positive changes has left an indelible mark on the Bauchi State Emirate and our beloved State.

“Your dedication and social welfare, education, healthcare and the promotion of peace and unity serves as a beacon of inspiration for us all,” he quoted the governor as saying.

Gidado said that the Governor further said, “under the esteemed leadership and guidance of Alh (Dr) Rilwan Suleman Adamu, Bauchi emirate in particular and Bauchi in general has witnessed a remarkable progress and unprecedented transformation, with initiatives aimed at empowering the underprivileged, promoting inclusivity and enhancing the overall well-being of our citizens.

“Therefore, the recognition is a testament to the compassion and vision of the Emir for a better and more prosperous Bauchi State.

“The Governor prayed for continued good health , Prosperity of the emir and wish him God guidance, compassion and service to continue to inspire generations to come.”
