Nigerian barber Joshua Aiyenuro, popularly known as T-Jos, has gained significant support for his youth empowerment initiative after meeting with Super Eagles star Odion Ighalo on Sunday in Abuja.
T-Jos recently completed the Guinness World Record for the Longest Hairdressing Marathon, lasting 154 hours from June 10 to June 17, 2025.
*”My journey is not just about cutting hair, it’s about empowering the next generation,” T-Jos said.
He plans to establish 1,000 barbing seats across Nigeria, providing skill acquisition opportunities for Nigerian youths.
Ighalo, impressed by T-Jos’ resilience and determination, pledged his full support for the project.
“This initiative aligns closely with my own philanthropic efforts, and I’m happy to assist T-Jos in any way possible to achieve his vision,”* Ighalo said.
The partnership is expected to create employment and skill-building opportunities for Nigerian youth, inspiring others to drive meaningful change across the country.
