BY RICHARD ABU, Nasarawa –
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Ugya/Umaisha State House of Assembly election in Nasarawa State, Hon. Ibrahim Sa’ad Abdullahi has vowed to take over the constituency from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Hon. Abdulahi stated this during the weekend when he flagged off his campaign in Nasarawa.
He urged the people of his constituency to vote for him in order to bring democratic dividends to them as the APC administration has failed woefully in the provision of developmental projects and security.
Hon. Abdullahi, who defected from the ruling APC to the PDP, however, criticized the poor policies of the ruling party.
According to him, the manifestos of the PDP are much more acceptable to him, hence, his decision to dump his former party. He pledged to give the people of his constituency a purposeful leadership if voted into office come 2023.
The assembly hopeful also felicitated with his Muslim brothers and sisters on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
“I urged the people of my constituency to celebrate the event with care as high level of insecurity and poor economic policies of the APC will not warrant flamboyant activities”, he said.
