Nasarawa Speaker drums support for Governor Sule

The Speaker Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Danladi Jatau, has urged the people of his constituency and the State at large to continue to pray and support Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration to succeed.

Jatau, made the call during an expanded APC stakeholders meeting of Kokona West constituency in Garaku today.

The meeting organized at the instance of the speaker, brought together party Chairmen from the Six Electoral Wards of Kokona West, Youths and Women leaders, party executives of the LG, political appointees and other critical stakeholders.

He said that the meeting was to thank the people of his constituency for their votes and support during the 2023 general elections as well as their support and prayers for his emergence as Speaker of the 7th Assembly.

“I called for this meeting to appreciate you for supporting and voting me during the 2023 election. Without your votes, It will not be possible for me to be member of the House and Speaker today”

“I also want to thank His Excellency, Gov Abdullahi Sule and Honourable members of the House for supporting me to be the leader of the 7th Assembly,” he said.

Jatau assured of his commitment to lobby for projects as well as initiate good policies and programmes that will have direct bearing on the lives of the people his constituency and the State at large.

“By God’s grace, I will make you proud by providing purposeful leadership at all times”

“I will continue to do my best, ensure that I get jobs for my people, initiate empowerment programs as well as embark on projects that will have direct bearing on your lives”

“What I want from your is patience, loyalty and support to the government of the day and to me to enable us succeed” he said

Jatau appreciated Gov . Abdullahi Sule for his efforts in developing the State especially in the areas of road construction, education among others.

“Gov. Sule has passion for our people, am assuring you that more good things and more democratic dividends are coming because the government has outlined lots of projects to carry out in this area.

” Apart from the Kokona / Dari Road constructed by the government, work on that of Mararaba Kokona to Agwada has already commenced and by the grace of God that of Kokona / Basa Road will be attended to by our listening Governor” He added.

On the LG election, he urged the people of Kokona West constituency to remain calm and follow stakeholders and government directive on the election.

” If the time of the Local Government election reached, we will sit and deliberate on how to ensure the success of the election in the constituency,” he said.

On their parts, Mr Luka Osu, SSA to Gov Sule, Hon Akpomoshi Musa Deputy Chairman, Kokona LGA, Mr Jacob Terry Bado, APC Chairman, Kokona LGA, Mr Yamusa Chindo Vune, APC Chairman, Bassa Electoral Ward, Hon Usman Ewa, Councillor representing Agwada ward and APC Youth Leader of Kokona, Abubakar Abdullahi, Mairo Abdullahi Krishi, Supervisory Councillor of Social Services and Abubakar Osu, a stakeholder appreciated God for the emergence of Jatau as the Speaker of the 7th Assembly.
