NATFORCE urges NSA to investigate, prosecute fraudsters in Nigeria

The proscribed National Taskforce on illegal arms, small and light weapons and chemical wants the National Security Adviser to investigate and prosecute those using the name of the organization to defraud unsuspecting public

The Commande Special Squad NÀTFORCE Mr Aliyu Aminu-Wayas made the call while briefing newsmen in Abuja.

Mr Aminu-Wayas who decried the activities of the fraudsters, stressed the need for intelligence agencies to swing into action to arrest and prosecute the individuals and save Nigerians from the criminals

The Commander of the defunct NÀTFORCE appealed to the National Security Adviser to reconsider its decision and lift the ban on the organization, while urging the National Assembly to speed up the passage of its bill to give legal backings to its operations.

Mr Aminu-Wayas pledged the organisation readiness to work with other security agencies to address the proliferation of small and light weapons as well as criminality across the country.
