Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah
Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has reaffirmed his support for the National Working Committee (NWC), Board of Trustees (BOT), and South East Zonal Executive Committee (ZEC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) regarding the ongoing crisis.
Mbah also expressed his backing for the upcoming National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting scheduled for June 30.
“The position of the South East with respect to the National Secretaryship of the party as issued in that communique is sacrosanct,” Mbah stated.
He emphasized that the Southeast zone reserves the right to review its continued membership in the party if its demands aren’t met.
While still a PDP member, Mbah expressed frustration with the party’s internal wranglings, describing them as an “endless circus.”
“I’m simply fed up with the shenanigans that have more or less made the party an endless circus,” he said.
