National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the schedule for its elective national convention, set for November 15 and 16, 2025.
The timetable, released on Sunday in Abuja, was signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Umar Bature.
“The PDP is committed to a transparent and organized process for our national convention,” Bature stated.
According to the schedule, the sale of nomination and expression of interest forms will begin on September 3 and conclude on September 22, with completed forms due by September 26.
The screening of aspirants is slated for September 30, with the list of cleared candidates to be published on October 3. Aspirants can appeal screening outcomes on October 6, and the final list of candidates will be released on October 10.
“This timetable ensures a fair and structured selection process,” Bature added.
The convention will occur on November 15 and 16, with the handover of leadership scheduled between December 1 and December 8.
