Plateau NLC set to organize campaign for Peter Obi

Chairman, political campaign council of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) in Plateau State, Comrade Yohana Badung has said the union would soon embark on unit to unit campaign for all Labour Party Presidential candidates, Peter Obi ahead of the 2023 election.

Comrade Badung, who is the Secretary of the NLC in Plateau State, stated this on Sunday, at the formal inauguration of campaign council of Barr Gyang Zi, a senatorial candidate of LP for Plateau northern senatorial district.

He urged those who are yet to obtain their Permanent Voters Card (PVCs) to urgently do so, because without the PVC’s their agitations for change of people in government will be in vain.

Speaking at the event, Prince Chuwang Rwang-Pam, a son of a former Gbong Gwom Jos, told the gathering that APC and the PDP are working hard to sabotage Labour Party, therefore all supporters of the party should not just work for the presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, but all candidates contesting on the platform of the LP.

The running mate to the governorship candidate, Barr Edward Pwajok, (SAN) in an address assured that Labour Party would take over Plateau state and Peter Obi shall win presidency to correct the wrongs.

Earlier, the Director General Campaign Council of Barr Gyang Zi, campaign organization Mr. Ayiki John Sati, in an acceptance speech shortly after his inauguration alongside other directorates said they will do their best.

Mr. Ayiki urged members of the Labour to support them in anyway possible way they can to enable their candidate become victorious at the polls 2023.

He Pleaded with Barr Gyang Zi to avail them with every necessary logistics and advise that could facilitate their activities.

A state House of Assembly candidate for Langtang North Central, Daniel Nanbol in a good will massage at the event charged all supporters of Labour Party not to relent, but should study the 2022 Electoral Act as a means of avoiding blunders during electioneering.
