Some of the Borno Express buses involved in auto crash
Twenty people were killed when a passenger bus flipped over in Algeria, state news agency APS reported on Friday.
Eleven others were injured in the accident, which occurred on Thursday in the southern province of Tamanrasset, the report said, citing the civil defence service.
Most victims were of various African nationalities, APS said without giving further details.
One of the dead was an Algerian national, according to the Algerian news website Elkhabar.
The cause of the accident is not clear yet.
Tamanrasset, located near the borders with Mali and Niger, is regarded as a transit point for African migrants seeking to go to Europe. (dpa/NAN)
