PDP Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Senator Wali Jibrin has expressed happiness over the emergence of Atiku Abubakar as the flag bearer of the party in the forthcoming 2023 general election.
Senator Jibrin in his congratulatory message on Monday, said Atiku’s victory in the just concluded PDP primary is one of the best things that has happened to the party.
The BOT Chairman advised the PDP flag bearer to choose an acceptable running mate that will generally be acceptable to Nigerians to guarantee victory at the polls in 2023.
According to him, “”We must remember that Atiku was earlier elected as the party’s flag bear in 2019 but was shortchange by the APC, this time around, we will not allow that to happen”.
He drew the attention of Nigerians to the wonderful performances of Atiku as Vice-president under the Obasanjo administration and congratulated the Senator David Mark’s National Convention Committee for a successful National convention and thanked the delegates for the wise decision.
The BOT chairman also advised Nigerians to team up as members of one family to rebuild the country by supporting Atiku in the 2023 presidential election.
