The Emir of Nasarawa , Hon. Alhaji Ibrahim Usman Jibrin

His Royal Highness, the Emir of Nasarawa, Hon. Alhaji Ibrahim Usman Jibrin has called on members of the royal family in Nasarawa LGA of Nasarawa State to be united towards uplifting the status of the emirate by projecting the potentials of the emirate to traditional greatness and fortunes.
Alhaji Jibrin said the call became necessary to enable all the sons and daughters of Nasarawa Emirate Council to join hands with each other and ensure continuous peace and stability in the area.
This is contained in a statement issued and signed by the Nasrawa Emirate Council Secretary Alhaji Bulama DIdrus M Loko and made available to journalists in Maiduguri, on Monday.
According to the statement, the royal father made the passionate call on Sunday at his palace in Nasarawa when the new Makaman Dawaki of Nasarawa Emirate, Alhaji Idris umar Abubakar paid a courtesy visit on the emir at his palace during the new year.
He also congratulated the new Makaman Dawaki of Nasarawa Emirate, Alhaji Idris umar Abubakar for his well deserved nomination to replace his late father , Alhaji Umaru Sarki Abubakar who died recently.
The leader of the delegation and a senior in the family , Hon Dr Idris Mohammed Loko said they decided to pay the thank you visit to His Royal Highness to appreciate the emir’s consideration of Alhaji Idris Umar as the new Makaman Dawaki of Nasarawa.
He also assured the Emir and entire people of Nasarawa LGA of their unflinching support and loyalty to the emir towards uplifting the palace activities beyond its present position while highlighting on the cordial relationship that has been existing for the past 56 years among members of the family of the Nasarawa ruling house.
Idris Loko cited lates emirate like Abubakar Malamin Sarki , the son of the 4th Emir of Nasarawa, Mohammadu Dan Waji who is the father of the late 10th Emir of Nasarawa, Alhaji Ibrahim Ramalan Abubakar, the first Permanent Secretary, FCDA Abuja. He also mentioned late Alhaji Ibrahim Biya Biya, Sarkin Yakin of Nasarawa Emirate , while pledging to emulate the good intentions and leadership qualities of the royal father.
After the visit, the delegation visited the palace cemetery and prayed for the repose of the souls of all the late Emirs of Nasarawa buried at the Palace.
In another development, at a re- union meeting held at the residence of late 10th Emir of Nasarawa Ibrahim Ramalan abubakar, an elder in the Union ,Dr Idris Mohammed Loko urged all sons and daughters as well as grand children from the late Malamin Sarki Abubakar and Katuka Mamud to join hands and be supportive to each other in order to maintain the existing cordial relationship .
He further said the initiators of the re- union considered it necessary to creat a forum for discussions and prayers to resolve any differences and pray for the soul of family members who died.
According to him, the re- union comprises members from Family of Lates Malamin Sarki Abubakar, Iya Mamuda ,10th Emir Ramalan Abubakar .Hadiza iko babba, Aishatu gogo iko , Alhaji Umaru gadau , Alhaji Umaru Sarki Abubakar and Alhaji Hassan kambari of blessed memories as a yearly event.
