Tinubu Mega Group (TMG) has approved a ₦1 billion campaign support fund for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid, marking a major outcome of its National Executive Council (NEC) meeting held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The resolution was among several key decisions reached at the gathering on Monday, June 22, 2026, which brought together members of the organisation’s National Executive Council, state coordinators from the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, zonal leaders from the six geopolitical zones, as well as representatives from TMG’s diaspora chapters in the United States, the United Kingdom, China and Europe.
In a communiqué issued at the end of the meeting, the Council expressed confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership and endorsed plans to actively support his re-election campaign.
As part of that commitment, the organisation approved the sum of ₦1 billion to support campaign activities and nationwide mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
According to the Council, the decision reflects the confidence of the organisation and its membership in the President’s leadership and the policies being implemented under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
To realise the target, TMG disclosed that consultations and fundraising activities have already commenced across its structures in the 36 states, the Federal Capital Territory, the six geopolitical zones and its diaspora chapters.
The group said contributions from members, stakeholders, supporters and partner organisations have begun, adding that the response received so far has been encouraging.
The NEC also endorsed the commencement of Tinubu Town Hall Meetings across Nigeria and in key international locations, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Asia and Europe.
The initiative, according to the organisation, is aimed at engaging Nigerians both at home and abroad, highlighting the achievements of the Renewed Hope Agenda and encouraging greater citizen participation in national development.
During the meeting, Council members commended President Tinubu for what they described as courageous reforms and strategic policies targeted at repositioning the economy, improving infrastructure, attracting investment and driving national development.
The organisation also expressed appreciation to supporters and stakeholders who have continued to assist its operations nationwide.
Particular recognition was given to members who have donated office accommodation to the group in more than 20 states, as well as those who have voluntarily provided vehicles and other logistics support for its programmes and activities.
TMG further renewed its appeal to patriotic Nigerians, business leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs and development partners to support the organisation through financial contributions, office infrastructure, mobility assets and sponsorship of programmes and events.
Meanwhile, the Council confirmed that the prestigious title of Grand Commander of the Tinubu Mega Group (GCTMG), the highest honour of the organisation, will be conferred on Dr. Azonabor Osade Eronmose on June 26, 2026.
The honour, according to the Council, is in recognition of Dr. Eronmose’s contributions to humanity, philanthropy and national development.
The organisation expressed confidence that the resolutions adopted at the Port Harcourt meeting would strengthen its structures across Nigeria and the diaspora while advancing its objectives of national unity, continuity and sustainable development.
