Avm Ahmad Muazu (rtd), today emerged as the Acting Chairman Independent National Electoral Commission pending the confirmation of Prof Mahmood Yakubu by the National Assembly.
The development followed the expiration of the first tenure of five years of Prof Mahmood Yakubu who was recently nominated by President Muhammad Buhari to the Senate for confirmation for second term of office.
The Acting Chairman is the National Commissioner in charge of Logistics, (INEC.
