Action Alliance (AA) party, has debunked an alleged expulsion of its National Chairman, Chief Kenneth Udeze by a court judgment in Abuja.

AA National Secretary, Mr James Vernimbe, debunked the allegation in a statement on Friday in Abuja.

According to Vernimbe, the legitimate, authentic and subsisting national chairman of AA is Udeze which can be verified from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and its website.

“The attention of the National Executive Committee (NEC) and National Think Tank Committee (NTTC) of the AA have been drawn to a baseless publication that the Federal High Court Abuja have affirmed the suspension/ expulsion of the AA national chairman.

“This is false, incorrect and should be disregarded by the general public.

“The legitimate, authentic and subsisting national chairman of AA ction is Udeze which can be verified from the INEC and its website,” he said.

He said the Federal high court Abuja only refused to set aside its earlier judgment of Nov. 4.

According to him, that court order wrongly ordered the INEC to accept lists of candidates for the 2023 general elections from an unknown person.

He added that the national leadership of the party had taken steps to appeal the ruling and had made it very clear that its chairman, Udeze remained.

“He is the legitimate, authentic and subsisting national chairman of the Action Alliance as affirmed by FCT High Court on March 28.

“The judgment haven not been set aside by the superior court is valid and subsisting,” he said.

Vernimbe said that all the candidates’ names submitted by the Udeze led NEC and published by the INEC for the 2023 general elections remained without any replacement.

He appealed to the general public and AA members across Nigeria and in diaspora to remain peaceful and steady with faith in the Udeze led administration.

Vernimbe said the Udeze led administration and NTTC remained the only legitimate party hierarchy with the tenacity and momentum to move the party to victory in the 2023 general elections.
