Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has decorated his Aide-De-Camp (ADC), DSP Ashigar Baba Kulbu, with his new rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) following Ashigar’s promotion by the Nigeria Police Force.
The governor was assisted in decorating the ADC by the commissioner of Police, CP Lawal Muhammad Yusufu in a brief ceremony held at the Government House, Maiduguri on Monday.
Governor Zulum congratulated Ashigar on his promotion while wishing him more success in his career. Ashigar’s rose through the ranks from ASP one star to ASP two star and DSP (three star) as testament to his hard work, dedication, obedient commitment and loyalty.
He joined the Nigeria Police Force in 2016 as an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) I and has since been promoted to ASP II and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) before his current decoration as Superintendent of Police (SP) in 2025.
