Military troops of Operation Safe Haven have rescued no fewer than three students of Plateau State Polytechnic Barkin Ladi, who were abducted by Gunmen on Wednesday.
NATIONAL ACCORD had reported that the students were kidnapped on Wednesday night at Ban, a community behind the main Campus of the institution at Heipang, Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of the state.
The military information officer of Operation Safe Haven, Major Ishaku Takwa, disclosed the release of the students in a statement issued to newsmen on Thursday in Jos.

Major Takwa explained that troops deployed at Nding Sesut noticed an unusual movement of persons during patrols and immediately conducted cordon and search in the general area.
The military spokesman said the search led to the rescue of the abducted students at an abandoned poultry farm.
He however, noted that the rescued students have since been reunited with their families while a manhunt is ongoing to apprehend the gunmen behind the kidnapping.
