President Buhari to swear in Justice Olukayode Ariwoola as CJN

President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to swear in Justice Olukayode Ariwoola as the next Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) after the resignation of Justice Tanko Muhammad.

Justice Ariwoola who is the most senior Justice of the Supreme Court will be sworn-in by President Buhari today by 2pm, according to competent sources.

This is coming barely few hours after Justice Tanko Muhammad resigned on Sunday night, citing ill-health as the reason for his decision.
