The Theater Commander, Operation Hadin Kai Joint Task Force (JTF) North East Headquarters, Maj. Gen. Shaibu Wahidi, says the command will continue to partner Allamin Foundation for Peace and Development in providing the enabling environment and the protection of lives and properties of the people in the state and region at large.
General Wahidi also commended the foundation numerous achievements and activities in safety and protection of lives of the victims and survivors of the insurgency.

The Theater Commander stated this on Tuesday, when the Executive Director of Allamin Foundation Hajiya Hamsatu Allamin led management, paid a courtesy visit to the Theater Command headquarters at Maimalari Cantonment Maiduguri.
He also expressed his appreciation for the visit and acknowledged the good work the foundation has been doing since when he was the GIC 7 Division, NA Maiduguri.
“We are highly aware and impressed with your advocacy and public enlightenment campaigns in the Boko Haram survivors and victims towards deradicalizing, reconciling, rehabilitating and reintegrating them back into the society to live a normal and better life with their families, people or relations, friends and communities”.
“Your messages are everywhere and it will go a long way across the state and region especially, the target groups through your platforms and campaigns of non kinetic approach to the counter insurgency fight against the insurgents..
“On your disappearance, sexual violence and other forms of social vices , I assure you that our soldiers are not part of it. Our security operatives are always warned and monitored to ensure such do not happen in camps any more.
“We will try as much as possible to provide the needed human and Environmental protection for the people. To give avenues of their freedom of expression, living, and association. We will continue to partner with you to see that your objectives achieved by giving you the enabling environment to operates through our Civil-Militaty Relations Department .
“We thank you for what you have been doing and we will like to encourage you to continue with what you are doing. You really have our support and backing in your peace building , rehabilitation and reconciliation activities and development ,” Gen. Wahidi said.
Earlier, the Executive Director of Allamin Foundation for Peace and Development, Hajiya Hamsatu Allamin said the foundation’s management and its team members were at the theater command to brief the theater commander on its humanitarian activities and success sustained so far as well solicit for support and cooperation of the command headquarters towards the actualization of the foundation’s transformation of the victims and transitional justice for the survivors and all forms of criminality
Hajiya Hamsatu noted that people have high expectations from him as the new theater commander while congratulating him over his recent appointment as the new theater commander having served in the theater in the past as GOC 7 Division , NA.
She highlighted on the activities of the Boko Haram insurgents and consequences on the innocent children, as well as the negative narrations against the Nigerian military by the insurgents prompted her intention to intervene through network for peace and development in collaboration with other NGOs and Humanitarian partners.
According to her, the foundation created networks of Jire dole, media, CSO, women , widows, orphans, invisible children, sexual violence, victims of survivors, forceful marriage , transitional justice and many others and registered about 23,000 members who have been undergoing training, counselling, guidance and advocacy as well as livelihoods support and , skills acquisition, entrepreneurship training as well as other empowerment schemes.
Highlights of the courtesy call include presentation of documents containing the demands of the victims and survivors of Boko Haram insurgency , calendars, writing pads and award to the Commander, JIC Unit, Giwa Barracks , Col. A.U. Ahmed , photographs and discussions.
