Harry Maguire
Harry Maguire has signed a new contract with Manchester United that will keep him at the club until June 2027, with an option for another year.
Maguire spoke with pride after extending his stay. “Representing Man United is the ultimate honour. It is a responsibility that makes myself and my family proud every single day,” he said.
“You can feel the ambition and potential of this exciting squad.
The determination throughout the whole club to fight for major trophies is clear for everyone to see, and I am confident that our best moments together remain ahead of us. I’m delighted to extend my journey at this incredible club to at least eight seasons and continue to play in front of our special supporters to create more amazing moments together.”
This season, Maguire has been a steady presence for United, making around 18 league appearances, scoring once, and providing an assist. He has delivered key moments, including a headed winner against Liverpool in a rare away victory, showing he can still rise to the occasion. His performances have also kept him in contention for England, proving he continues to make an impact at both club and international level.
Now in his 30s, Maguire’s extension shows he and the club are aligned for the long term. Once heavily criticised, he has gradually become a respected figure at Old Trafford.
This new deal secures his role as a senior presence, trusted to contribute on and off the pitch as United push for major honours in the seasons ahead.
