Nigeria Govt. must put heads together to find solution to national challenges – Gbong Gwom Jos

The Federal Executive Council and the National Assembly has been tasked to put their heads together to find lasting solution to lingeria insecurity in the country.

The Gbong Gwom Jos and Chairman Plateau State Council of Chiefs, His Highness Da Gyang Buba gave the challenge in a remark in his palace when the House of Representative Committee on Industry paid him a coutesy call.

Members of the House of Representative Committee on Industries were guided on the visit to the monarch by the Director General of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Sir Joseph Ari.

The Plateau paramount ruler said the task has became neccessary in view of the prevailing insecurity spreading across the country.

The monarch said, “only yesterday, some gunmen stormed my territary in Kuru village and unleashed mayhem on innocent people, killing at least 12 people. They also injured several people during the attack”

“Similar attack happen in one part of the country or the other everyday. No one is spared and no where is spared”.

“Therefore, it is high time the Federal Executive Council and the Federal Legislative Council put their heads together and find lasting solution to this national problems”

“I’m confident that for any problem, there must be solution, and Nigerians are eargerly waiting for government to proffer the solution to this.

“Nigeria need peace to develop like other nations across the world, so the Federal and State Government must do something to end insecurity” he said.

Earlier, the Chairman House of Representative Committee on Industry, Dr. Dolakpo Badiru informed the monarch that they were in his palace to pay homage before commencing their oversight function in the state.,

Acyylcording to Dolapo, “As house committee on industry, we are in Plateau state for a 3-day oversight function at the Inustrial training fund, Nasco Group and Grand Cereal and Oil Mills limited.

The commiittee who also pay similar visit to the Plateau state government informed the governor that Plateau is lucky to play host to key government agency like ITF and some surving industries in the country.

The committee commended the state government for providing the peaceful atmosphare and enabling environment for industries in the state.

Sir Joseph Ari guided the house committee on industries on tour of private industries located in Jos, The Plateau State’s capital, notably Nasco Group and Grand Cereal and Oil Mills Limited.
