Muslims pilgrims performing the ritual of stoning the Jamarat
Pilgrims have begun arriving in Mina at dawn to perform the ritual of stoning the Jamarat, a crucial part of the Hajj pilgrimage.
To ensure a smooth and safe experience, authorities have implemented a well-organized system, allocating multiple paths and providing robust security, health, and ambulance services.
The Jamarat bridge, connected to pedestrian bridges and the Mashaer train, was efficiently managed, allowing pilgrims to stone Jamrat al-Aqaba in an orderly manner according to a prepared schedule.
After completing the ritual, pilgrims returned to their camps smoothly.
With this milestone achieved, pilgrims will now proceed with other essential Hajj rituals, including animal sacrifice, shaving their heads (for men), tawaf al-ifadah (circling the Kaaba), and saii (walking between Safa and Marwa hills).
