Police nab 6 BDC operators for kidnapping colleague’s child

The Bureau De Change operators were arrested by the police for abducting their colleague's 8 years-old child

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested six Bureau de Change (BDC) operators for allegedly kidnapping an eight-year-old child.

The Police Public Relations Officers, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest in his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday.

SP Hundeyin said that the suspects conspired and kidnapped the child of their colleague.

“The child , whose hands and feet were bound in a sack was released three days later.

“Preliminary investigation reveals that all the suspects are fellow BDC operators in the same business district of Lagos.” he said.

The police spokesman noted that the suspects will be arraigned at the end of investigation.
