Zaymah College graduates students, holds Quranic recitation in Maiduguri

Zaymah International Model College Bulumkutu Tsalle Maiduguri has held its first Quranic recitation and prize giving day at the college premises to mark the passing out 2020/2021 female graduating Quranic students .

The College Proprietress, Hajiya Madina Baba Yusuf charged the students and pupils to embrace their studies and be hard working, while expressing her joy for witnessing the historic and significant ceremony.

She also called on the students and pupils to continue to be disciplined, obedient and be punctual to school and be serious in their academic pursues

Hajiya Madina further charged parents and guardians to continue to support and cooperate with the college authority, while thanking them for their unalloyed support in imparting knowledge in their subjects as future leaders and mothers of tomorrow.

The Borno State Commissioner of Education, Hon. Ibrahim Lawan Wakilbe, who was represented by the Special Adviser to the Commissioner , Alhaji Tijani Lawan commended the college management for organizing such an important event as a testimony of the students intelligence and capabilities.

He promised that the state government will continue to assist the college where possible to develop and progress in imparting knowledge to the students and pupils towards graduating qualified teachers and mothers to support their husbands in their matrimonial homes, in accordance with Islam teachings.

The Executive Chairman of Maiduguri Metropolitan Council (MMC), Ali Bukar Bolori who was represented by Alhaji Shettima kurube, thanked the college for recognizing MMC in the event and pledged his unalloyed support to the college whenever the need arises .

The chairman, who donated N50,000 to the college, urged the students and pupils to face their studies and be good ambassadors of the college and future leaders of the country.

In his fatherly remarks, His Royal Highness, the Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Umar Ibn Garbai El Kanemi, who is also the Deputy National President of National Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs (NSCAI), blessed the students and pupils as well as the staff and management of the college for their efforts and sacrifices in passing the right knowledge to the children .

The royal father, who was represented by the Deputy Imam, Idaini of Borno, Shiekh Shettima Deribe, commended the graduating students and pupils for their successes and commitment to their studies to have graduated.

He considered the graduation as a hallmark in their life and careers, while enjoining them to put the knowledge they have acquired into use proper use.

The royal father noted that knowledge is a strong pillar for everybody to acquire. He commended the students for standing boldly before the audience to recite the Quran which they studied untiringly while praying Allah to bless them abundantly in this world and hereafter.
