Zulum commissions mosque, approves rehabilitation of hospital, schools in Uba

,Borno State Governor,  Babagana Zulum, has commissioned a newly constructed Jumu’at Mosque in Uba, Askira/Uba Local Government Area.

This initiative underscores the governor’s commitment to enhancing religious infrastructure and fostering community development.

During his visit, Governor Zulum inspected the ongoing construction of a High Islamic School in Uba and commended the contractors for their quality workmanship and assured them of continued support to ensure the project’s timely completion.

Part of the school building earmarked for reconstruction

In a bid to improve healthcare and education in the region, the governor approved the rehabilitation of the General Hospital and the Secondary School in Uba. Additionally, he sanctioned the reconstruction of both Secondary and Primary Schools in Uvu, aiming to provide better educational facilities for students.

These actions are part of Governor Zulum’s broader strategy to rebuild and develop Borno State, focusing on critical sectors such as education, healthcare, and religious infrastructure.

By prioritizing these sectors, Governor Zulum aims to enhance the quality of life for residents and promote sustainable development across Borno State.
