Mr President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu
1. If your security chiefs disobeyed your order to implement your earlier directive to bring peace to Benue, the solution is to sack them! A sergeant cannot ignore orders from even a 2nd Lt without suffering consequences. You make yourself look weak that as commander in chief, your orders are routinely disobeyed and disregarded and there are no consequences!
2. The killings in Benue are not REPRISAL attacks! The farmers did not attack anybody! They were sleeping after their hard work in the farms. Mr President this is GENOCIDE!

3. Mr President there are no warring parties. This is an invasion of farming communities who are defenceless. If it’s a war, how many casualties have been reported on the side of the bandits?
4. Mr President you have fallen into the same pit with your predecessor who said the victims should negotiate with their killers! How do you negotiate with faceless bandits? Or do you know them? If so, why are you not ordering their arrest for genocide on innocent people?
5. Why blame the political leaders when as commander in chief you have the might to bring the killings to an end. If any political leader is complicit, then hold them to account!
6. You have directed the security to arrest the perpetrators but will this order be obeyed?
7. Gov Alia has his role to play but you are the chief security officer of Nigeria. Lead by example. You condemned Israel attack on Iran but said nothing about killings in Benue. It’s only a protest that has drawn a statement from you. You should visit Benue and other impacted states as the President of the people and commander in chief of the security posted in the frontlines.
Mr President, speak to us directly!
Thank you
