The Multiplied Grace Fellowship (MGF), a Christian worship group, has empowered 47 students in tertiary and secondary institutions across Akwa Ibom State as part of its 11th anniversary celebrations.
The beneficiaries include 43 tertiary institution students and 4 secondary school students who demonstrated good academic track records.
While presenting cheques to the beneficiaries at Flairmore Event Center in Uyo, Pastor Uwem Andrew-Essien, lead Pastor of MGF, alongside his wife, Pastor Imaobong Andrew-Essien, said the gesture recognizes the students’ commitment to their service units in the Fellowship.
He encouraged them not to “be weary in well doing,” assuring that God would continue to reward their labor of love.
The anniversary theme, “Crowned with His Goodness,” was preached on by Pastor Triumphant Olorunfemi Obamoh of the Living Faith Church, who explained that being “crowned with goodness” means being completely glorified by God for all-round blessings.
He emphasized the importance of serving God dedicatedly and making thanksgiving a lifestyle, saying it guarantees longevity.
Pastor Obamoh also lauded Pastor Andrew-Essien’s vision for gathering Christians across denominations to pray every Friday, assuring that God would answer their prayers.
The well-attended event featured various activities, including: choir ministrations, dance and drama performances, unveiling of the new edition of the Fellowship’s prayer book, cutting of the anniversary cake
