U.S President Donald Trump has dramatically escalated his rhetoric against Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stating that the US knows his exact location but won’t kill him “for now.”
Trump posted on his Truth Social platform, “We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding.
“He is an easy target, but is safe there — We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now.”
However, Trump warned that the US won’t tolerate missile attacks on civilians or American soldiers, stating, “Our patience is wearing thin.”
He later followed up with a stark message: “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!”.
Trump’s comments come amid escalating tensions between Iran and US ally Israel.
The US president claimed the US has “complete and total control of the skies over Iran,” highlighting the use of US-made weaponry.
Trump also emphasized his desire for “a real end, not a ceasefire” to the conflict, warning, “I’m not in too much of a mood to negotiate”.
