The All Progressives Congress (APC) Supporters Network in Anambra State has officially endorsed Hon. Azuka Okwuosa as their preferred candidate for the upcoming gubernatorial elections.
This endorsement was made public by the spokesperson of the group, Ozomkpu Obi Nwankwo during a press conference held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, in Anambra State.
The conference is with the theme: “Who the Cap Fits: Hon. Azuka Okwuosa Is the Next Governor Anambra State Deserves“
According to Nwankwo, Anambra State needs a visionary leader who can drive the state’s development and address pressing challenges such as infrastructure development, youth empowerment, job creation, and effective governance.
He said the group believed that Hon. Azuka Okwuosa possesses the necessary experience, vision, and integrity to lead the state to prosperity.
“Hon. Okwuosa’s impressive track record, which includes his tenure as Commissioner for Works in Anambra State, has earned him recognition as a transformative leader. His strong ties with the grassroots, commitment to party loyalty and development, and reputation for transparency and accountability make him an ideal candidate for the position.
The APC Supporters Network spokesman urged the party’s leadership at the state and national levels to rally behind Hon. Okwuosa as their flagbearer.
He also called on the people of Anambra State to seize the opportunity to elect a governor who truly understands their needs and has the capacity to deliver.
As the gubernatorial elections approach, the group emphasized that the future of Anambra State is in the hands of its people. They expressed confidence that Hon. Azuka Okwuosa is the leader who can bring about positive change and progress to the state.
“As we approach the gubernatorial elections, let us remember that the future of Anambra State is in our hands. Hon. Azuka Okwuosa is the leader who wears the cap of service, competence, and vision.
“The time has come for all progressives and well-meaning Anambrarians to unite behind him for a brighter tomorrow”, he said.
