Minister tasks National Sugar Development Council on productivity

The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo has charged the newly appointed Executive Secretary of the National sugar Development Council (NSDC), Zacchaeus Adedeji to work towards the realization of the Federal Government’s goal in the sugar sector of the economy.

At the inauguration, Otunba Adebayo said the Federal Government was committed to ensuring the realization of the country’s self sufficiency in the sugar production.

The Minister urged the Executive Secretary of the National sugar Development Council, to leave landmark achievements by the time he would be leaving office.

He urged him to create an atmosphere of a good working relationship with his staff, board and management to ensure a successful execution of his mandate.
