NECO postpones 2020 national common entrance exam over coronavirus

JOHN ONAH, Abuja

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced indefinite postponement of the 2020 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) into Federal Unity Colleges earlier scheduled to hold on Saturday, March 28, 2020.

A statement by the Head of  Information and Public Relations Division of NECO, Azeez Sani, explained that the decision was part of the various measures being put in place by the federal and state governments to curtail potential spread of the coronavirus.

It said that the management of NECO regrets any inconveniences the postponement might have caused candidates and other stakeholders.

A new date for the examination would be communicated to candidates and other stakeholders in due course, it added.
