The Borno State Government on Wednesday commissioned twenty (20) bed capacity health care center in Dikwa LGA, which is part of its effort to boost quality health care delivery in the State.
NATIONAL ACCORD gathered that the formal commissioning and handing over of the health facilities, VIP latrines, showers and water points which was funded by the NNPC/Shell Company in collaboration with Family Health International and Borno State Government, took place virtually via Zoom at the Council Chamber in Government House Maiduguri.




Governor Babagana Zulum who was represented by The Deputy Governor, Hon. Umar Kadafur, said the choice of Dikwa for this project would surely provide essential lifesaving primary health care, water, sanitation and hygiene to the deserving population especially during this period of global Covid-19 pandemic .
Hon. Kadafur, however, commended FHI 360 and development partners for the projects across the state as part of their efforts to address several critical health issues towards sustainable development in the State.
